1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in the same way. This policy explains what Ehtiyag uses and how you can control it, in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.
2. What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| eh_sid | Cookie · strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in. Secure, HTTP-only (scripts can't read it) and contains only a random session ID — no personal details. | Until you close your browser or sign out |
| eh_pending | Cookie · strictly necessary | Only during Google sign-up: remembers the email Google shared so we can finish creating your account. | 15 minutes |
| eh_age_ok | Local storage · strictly necessary | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18+ so we don't ask on every page. | Until you clear it |
| eh_cookie | Local storage · strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choice. | Until you clear it |
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Your coins, XP and level are stored on our server, not in cookies.
3. Third-party cookies
- Google sign-in — if you use “Continue with Google”, Google may set its own cookies to sign you in and protect against fraud. See Google's cookie information.
- Games — our games load from our own server inside an embedded window and may use your browser's storage to remember in-game settings such as sound.
4. Your choices
Strictly necessary cookies are needed for the website to work and don't need consent. You can still change your choice using the Cookie settings button in the footer, or block and delete cookies in your browser settings — but if you block eh_sid you won't be able to stay signed in. Guides for every major browser are available at ico.org.uk.
5. Changes
If we add any new cookies we'll update this page and, where consent is needed, ask you first.
